Teaching experience
■2014 - 2015
I work in Paraguay, at the Japanese language program of the Japan-Paraguay Institute.
This role involves providing language education focused on teaching Japanese manners and culture to upper elementary, middle, and high school students.
I primarily taught beginner to intermediate level classes, serving as homeroom teacher for two classes over a two-year period.
Other lessons include proficiency test preparation lessons.
Instruction in acting and other skills for speech contests.
I was involved in tasks such as giving presentations for teachers.
■ January 2016 - March 2017: Worked as a part-time lecturer at Tokyo Hinoki International Language Institute.
Teaching classes for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), etc.
■ June 2016: Established Koharu Japanese Language Counseling Center.
I have started a private tutoring business, mainly in the Tokyo area.
I used to run all over Tokyo with just a backpack, taking the subway and JR trains. Those are fond memories. Summers were hot and winters were cold, and it wasn't until several years into my career that I truly appreciated the beauty of cherry blossoms and autumn leaves.
■ March 2018: Office name changed to "Koharu Japanese Language Office"
Around this time, my individual Japanese language office started to solidify its structure as a business.
We have been striving to create "Wouldn't it be great to have!" lessons taught by professional teachers.
I have been providing language training to any request, without any prior experience in Japanese language education.
Starting with lessons in everyday conversation and pronunciation correction,
General business Japanese training,
Exam preparation courses for JLPT and BJT,
Interview preparation and practice sessions, including for college applications.
I design Japanese language lessons in various forms, including kanji instruction, reading aloud, and writing instruction.
And so, we will take over all the know-how, knowledge, and experience that we have accumulated at Koharu Japanese Language Office.
■In November 2022, we established Japanese Learning Support LLC.
We have reached the starting point for our current position as a corporation.
What I think about is, "I wish there was a way to study Japanese like this."
We always strive to provide ideal Japanese language support while listening to our customers' needs.
Currently, my team has some excellent teachers that I am very proud of.
We will continue to uphold our unwavering principles and strive to be supporters of the activities of those who come from overseas.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Let's meet during the Japanese language time.

It's a word to hear.
