2025 Greetings for the Year / Japanese Learning Support LLC
There are only a few hours left until 2025.
Looking back, so many things happened this year, even as the seasons went by.
Just a year ago, we went from the cold winter to the cherry blossom season, and then, after Golden Week, the summer was even hotter than usual, and the autumn leaves that make walking around town a feast for the eyes have passed before we knew it.
The weather in Tokyo over Christmas was unfortunate, but it was warm for December, and I feel like it marked the start of winter in a good way this year as well.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you who take lessons from us at Japanese Language Learning Support LLC for taking time out of your busy schedules to study with us.
Whether you have achieved great results in your goals, such as passing the JLPT or advancing your career in the business world, or you are currently being forced to endure studying for a while,
I believe that the efforts you make to learn Japanese and speak it well, whether they come quickly or slowly, will be an essential experience for acquiring the skill of a foreign language.
In order to achieve a goal, words always require a certain amount of "effort" depending on the distance to that goal.
High goals require a certain amount of experience, and steady effort over time will lead to a career (path) that will lead you there.
Memorizing words by muttering them, racking your brain to complete example sentences, repeatedly shadowing while struggling with pronunciation you can't hear, copying kanji characters by hand...
This is definitely the skill (Japanese language skill) that I was able to acquire when I looked back on it after finishing my studies.
Words are the recollection and reproduction of experiences, and are the volume created by the vast number of sound connections.
Our job as teachers is to help students with the 'big study' that can feel like it has no end in sight.
Passing the JLPT exam, using Japanese in business situations, and acquiring the beautiful pronunciation you long for are all knowledge that you can only acquire after extensive study.
As teachers, we spend irreplaceable time working hard together during each and every Japanese lesson.
We would like to express our gratitude once again for the many encounters and memorable moments we shared with you in 2025, and we will continue to strive to help you improve your Japanese language skills in the coming year.
We hope that you will continue to support us with your Japanese language support.
"Becoming fluent in Japanese!" is just one step in daily study, and we wholeheartedly welcome everyone from overseas.
I hope you have a happy new year.
