[Steps to begin Japanese lessons]

① Book a trial lesson

Please contact us by phone at 03-6881-9842, or by filling out the Contact form [Lesson Reservation] with your lesson preferences and desired date and time for a trial lesson.

② After our reception staff confirms your request, we will contact you by phone or email.

③ Deciding on a course plan

Based on your trial lesson experience, we will propose a lesson plan and curriculum tailored to your needs. We will also recommend other teaching materials.

*Please feel free to contact us if you have decided on your budget, planned course duration, etc.

④ Start of the lesson

We will send you an invoice from our office in advance. Lessons will begin after we confirm your registration.

●Reservation and application for trial lessons

① Can I take a trial lesson?

➡Yes, you can enroll. Japanese Learning Support offers a free trial lesson before you begin any of our learning plans. Please allow approximately 30 minutes to book your trial lesson.

② Is the teacher in charge of the class a professional Japanese language teacher?

➡Yes. All of our teachers are professional Japanese language teachers with official qualifications. Please rest assured.

③ I'm thinking of taking a class once a week, but how often are the Japanese language courses offered?

➡We accept lesson bookings on dates that suit your needs. Our company is open 365 days a year. Since we operate on a reservation-only basis, we accept bookings for even a single session.

④ Will the schedule I book be fixed?

➡Yes, as per your reservation, we can secure a teacher's schedule for your preferred day and time each week.

If you need to change your schedule, please feel free to inform your instructor. We will accept your reservation for the new schedule starting from your next lesson.

Many of our clients also utilize our flexible booking system, booking each lesson individually. We are happy to accommodate your schedule as flexibly as possible, so please feel free to contact us.

⑤ Are there any fees other than the lesson fee?

➡No, you only need to pay the lesson fee for each session you take.

*However, please note that you are responsible for purchasing the teaching materials used in the lessons.

⑥ This is my first time taking online lessons. Is it possible to take the lessons using my mobile phone?

➡Yes, it is possible. We will invite you to an online meeting using the Google Meet video call app. This will create an ideal environment for speaking practice on your smartphone. However, for more advanced learning, we recommend using a computer if possible, as it allows for the use of apps such as document sharing and screen sharing functions.

⑦ Please tell me about the payment methods.

➡We offer two payment methods: bank transfer and credit card payment. Please deposit the course fee for the specified number of sessions before the start of each lesson.

*If you choose to pay by bank transfer, please note that the transfer fee will be borne by the customer.

*If paying by credit card, we will send an invoice to your email address from our PayPal account.

⑧ Is there a limit to the number of lessons that can be purchased with a single payment?

➡No, there is no set number of sessions. We accept payment from the first session. For those who use our services frequently, for example, if you take a lesson once a week, we sell a lesson ticket for 4 sessions (for one month/four weeks). We also sell tickets for larger groups, such as 10 sessions.

⑨ I would like to take the class using the textbooks I have already purchased. Is that possible?

➡Yes, we will prepare a lesson using the materials you bring with you.

One of the attractions of Japanese Learning Support is that it is individualized instruction; we arrange and propose a curriculum (materials, learning methods, homework, etc.) tailored to each customer's goals.

Requests for lessons or changes to your plan

① Can I cancel my enrollment for free if I am unable to attend?

➡Yes. We accept schedule changes up to 7 PM the day before your reservation. Cancellations after that time will be treated as "same-day cancellations" and you will be responsible for the full lesson fee. *Cancellation fee is 100%.

② I'm unhappy with my teacher. What should I do?

➡Please feel free to contact the office representative.

We will arrange for a teacher change after we have received more detailed information regarding your specific needs.

③ I will have to take a break from lessons for a while. Is there an expiration date on the tickets I purchased?

➡No, there is no deadline for taking the course. We look forward to you resuming lessons.

④ I still have tickets left, can I change my lesson plan?

➡Yes, we will change your plan as you requested. The remaining balance of your remaining tickets will be applied to the tuition fee for your new plan.

⑤ I would like to continue taking the course during summer vacation and the New Year holidays if possible. Is it possible to make reservations during these times?

➡Yes, we can take your reservation.

Japanese Learning Support LLC offers classes 365 days a year. Please let us know your preferred dates between 7:30 am and 11:30 pm Japan time.

⑥ If I want to add an extra lesson (irregular booking), how many days in advance can I book it?

➡For single-session or daily lesson bookings, please contact us by 7 PM the day before your desired lesson date.

⑦ The application period for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test has finally begun. This will be my first time taking the test, so can you provide support until I take the exam?

➡Yes, of course. We provide comprehensive support for various Japanese language exams, including the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, from application procedures and important points to the day of the exam.

Exams are an opportunity to visualize the results of your learning so far as concrete outcomes, and they are a hurdle in obtaining qualifications that officially prove your Japanese language proficiency.

You can rest assured that you're in good hands with our support. We are confident in providing you with the best possible study plan to achieve the highest possible success rate for passing your exam.

⑧ I have an interview scheduled (for employment/further education). Can you accommodate this with a specialized curriculum?

➡Yes, we will support your success by utilizing the know-how we have gained from assisting numerous learners since the establishment of our office.
