Knowing a large vocabulary is equivalent to being able to grasp what the other person is saying, or at least roughly what they are trying to say.

So, how can we efficiently acquire a large vocabulary?

The way to achieve this is simply to "read."

The advice to "read" when the goal is to speak may sound questionable, but reading and reading comprehension are sure to build a solid foundation in Japanese.

Reading a wide variety of texts according to your learning stage will help you develop a rich knowledge of the Japanese language.

Let's learn Japanese vocabulary and culture by reading lots of Japanese books.
