Today, let's read a story called "The Nightingale"!
Do you know the bird called the nightingale?
It is a bird that sings with a beautiful voice.
Today I'd like to tell you a story about such a bird.
It's a bit long, so I'll split it into part 1 and part 2.

"Nightingale" Part 1
Once upon a time, there was a king in China.
The king lived in a very big castle.
The castle garden is as vast as a forest, with many tall trees and lakes.
Even the gardener who was tasked with keeping the garden tidy had no idea how far the garden continued.
In that garden lived a bird called a nightingale.
The nightingale's song was so beautiful that when people who were busy working around the castle heard her voice, they stopped what they were doing and were entranced by her song.
Tourists from all over the world came to see the king's magnificent castle and gardens.
Then they all saw the castle and the gardens and were amazed at their beauty.
But when they hear the nightingale sing,
"This is the most beautiful!!"
He said.
Word of the King's Nightingale's wonderful song quickly spread throughout the world.
People all over the world have written poems and books about the Nightingale.
And so the book reached the king.
King: "Hmm? This is about a bird called a nightingale that lives in my garden. But I've never heard of such a bird! If it's so beautiful, I'd like to hear it sing."
The King then sent his servants to look for the Nightingale.
With such a large garden, it's difficult to even find a single nightingale.
*Servant: A subordinate of the king
The servants asked many people in the castle if they had seen the Nightingale, but no one had.
After hours of searching, they finally found a girl who said she knew where Nightingale was.
The little girl who worked in the castle kitchen led the servants to the Nightingale.
Girl: "That's the Nightingale!"
Servant: "Oh, what a beautiful voice indeed."
The nightingale sings in a beautiful, bell-like voice.
The girl said to the Nightingale:
Girl: "Little bird with a beautiful voice. Please sing for the king in the castle."
The Nightingale listened to her request and came into the castle.
When the king heard the beautiful song, he was moved to tears.
King: "How wonderful! Please keep singing by my side!"
The Nightingale was given a beautiful cage and sang close to the King every day.
The king was happy every day.

Now, let me talk a little about the grammar that appears in the text.
Grammar: How to use "like, like, like"
In the text,
"The castle garden is as vast as a forest, with lots of tall trees and lakes."
"The nightingale sings with a beautiful voice like a bell."
The following sentence came out.
What do these "like" and "like" mean?
"Like" and "Like" mean "like" and "like".
It is used when saying something is similar to something.
Sample1 Tanaka's daughter is as cute as a doll.
Sample2 It had been a while since I last visited an amusement park, and I was having fun like a kid.
Sample3 My mother is like the sun.
Sample4 I won't lend you money even if you beg with puppy dog eyes.
Sample5 This house is old and looks like a haunted house.
In Sample 1 and 2, it says "as if...".
"Like" is followed by an adjective and a verb.
In Samples 3 and 4, "like" is used.
"Like" is followed by a noun.
In the last Sample 5, it says "it seems."
"Yodai" and "Yodai" can be added to the end of a sentence.

⑤ Tanaka lives in a house in a luxury hotel. I'm jealous.
