"Yuki-onna" part2
The woman's name was Oyuki, and she was young and kind.
Minokichi immediately fell in love with Yuki, and Oyuki gradually came to like the kind-hearted Minokichi.
After that, the two got married happily and had five children.
Minokichi was living a truly happy life.
However, Minokichi sometimes thought Oyuki was strange.
Oyuki would get sick and collapse as soon as she was exposed to the summer sun, and Minokichi was getting older, but Yuki remained beautiful.
Then, one very cold winter day, Minokichi looked at the snow blowing next to the sleeping children and said to Oyuki.
Minokichi: "You've always been beautiful. I'm really happy to be married to you."
Minokichi remembered what happened before he met Oyuki.
Minokichi: "Actually, one year before I met you, I was on a snowy mountain..."
Minokichi slowly began talking about the day his father died.
Minokichi: "I've never felt so scared."
Oyuki listened to Minokichi without saying anything until the end, but when he finished speaking, she opened her mouth.
Oyuki: "Didn't you make a promise at that time?"
Minokichi: “Huh?”
Oyuki: "Didn't you tell me not to tell anyone?"
In an instant, Oyuki transformed into a Yuki-onna and looked sadly at Minokichi.
Minokichi: "You..."
Oyuki: "Yes, I'm the Yuki-onna from back then... I told you that if I told anyone, I would kill you, but I can't do that for the sake of my children. Let's just leave this place with me." .Goodbye."
Minokichi: "Wait!"
The snow quickly disappeared into a blizzard.
Afterwards, Minokichi looked for Oyuki, but couldn't find her.
Minokichi raised his children with great care and always waited for Oyuki to return.
It is said that there are still snow women in the mountains of the northern country.
Yuki-onna may also be looking for Minokichi.
It seems that he is lonely and trudging through the snow.
