Once upon a time, there lived two brothers, Hansel and Gretel.
Their father was a lumberjack, and they lived with their stepmother.

One night after Hansel and Gretel had gone to bed, their father and stepmother were talking.
"Hey, you're out of food. What are you going to do?"
"Hmm. I'm in trouble."
"Tomorrow, let's throw those brothers and sisters in the forest."
"No way...! To leave a child in the forest!"
"If this continues, the whole family will die!"

Hansel and Gretel listened to the story.

The next day, the father and stepmother took the brothers and sisters into the forest to cut wood.
Hansel walked by throwing stones on the road so that his parents would not find him.

But at night my parents did not come back.

One day, the stepmother decides to abandon Hansel and Gretel in the forest again.
But this time there were no more shining stones, so Hansel tore the bread into small pieces and threw them on the road.
At night, they were also mad at their stepmother.
Hansel tried to follow the bread back home, but the bread had been eaten by the birds of the forest.
"I can't go home! We can't leave the forest!"
Gretel started crying.
"Maybe there's an exit out of the forest somewhere. Let's go anyway."
Hansel and Gretel walked through the forest.
Then I found a house.
"Look! I have a house! I might get some food!"
When the two came near the house,
"Wow! Look! This house is made entirely of sweets!"
"It's true! The roof and the door are all sweets!"
The two who were hungry began to eat the house made of sweets.
Then an old woman came out of the house.
"Hey, who are you?"
"Oh! Excuse me, old lady. We are very hungry..."
"Oh, that's right. Poor thing... Now, let's go into the house and eat."

Hansel and Gretel had many feasts at their grandmother's house.
But this old woman was really a wicked witch.
After putting Hansel and Gretel to sleep, the witch put Hansel in a small room and locked it.
And the next day Gretel wakes up to find that Hansel is locked up.
"No way...! Why! Granny!"
"Hansel, I'll make him fatter and then I'll eat him."
"terrible!!"
Gretel cried again.
"Listen. You're cooking to make your brother fat."
Ordered by the witch, Gretel cooked while weeping.
Every day after that, Gretel was made to cook, wash and clean.
The blind witch went to Hansel's room and touched his finger through a small window to see if he had gained weight.
Hansel thought that if he got fat, he would be eaten, so every time the witch came, he would put a chicken bone out of the window and let the witch touch it.
After several days, the witch finally got angry.
"Aren't you fat yet? No more, I'll eat you!"
I started boiling water in a large pot.
Gretel thought that her brother would be eaten at this rate, so when the witch was checking the temperature of the water in front of the pot, she thumped the witch's back! I pushed it and dropped it into the pot.
Gretel helped Hansel return home with many treasures from the witch's house.
My nasty stepmother had already left home, so my father and I lived together forever.
