There are two stories, questions, and conversation practice.
① "Country Mouse and City Mouse"
A mouse living in the country and a mouse living in the city became friends.
One day, the country mouse said to the city mouse,
Country mouse: "Next time, come visit me at my house! I'll treat you to delicious food."
City Mouse: "That's good! I'm looking forward to it!"
And the city mouse went to visit the country mouse's house.
Country mouse: "Welcome, let's eat!"
The country mouse laid out the rice on the table.
But rice in the countryside is only nuts and beans.
City Mouse: "Huh? That's it? What about bread and cheese?"
Country Mouse: "Bread? Cheese? I've never had one."
City Mouse: "Well then, let's go to my house together. We can eat a lot more delicious food!"
The two immediately went to the city.
The city mouse's house was a very big house.
Country mouse: "This is your house!? That's amazing."
City Mouse: "Come on, let's go inside and eat!"
There is a large table in the house with a lot of food on it.
They took the fruit and bread on the table and ate them.
Country Mouse: "Wow, I've never eaten anything so delicious!"
City mouse: "If you stay here, you can always eat delicious food."
Then...
Gatan! ! I heard a loud noise behind me.
Humans have come.
City Mouse: "It's a disaster! Run away!"
The two hurriedly escaped among the furniture.
People who came into the room immediately went somewhere else.
City Mouse: "Phew, it was dangerous. But it's okay now. Let's continue eating."
Country mouse: "Okay, let's have it."
Then, bang again! ! I heard a sound.
Another person came into the room.
This person has been in the room for some time.
What would happen if a human found it?
Finally someone left the room.
Country mouse: "I'm going back to my house after all. You can eat this food too."
City Mouse: "Huh? Why? All the food was delicious, wasn't it? If you don't mind, why don't we live here together?"
Country Mouse: "The food was certainly good, but in the city you have to run away every day so that people can't find you. I don't like that kind of life."
With that said, the country mouse went home.

② "Don't cross this bridge"
Ikkyu lived in a temple in Kyoto.
Ikkyu was still a child, but he was a very smart person.
One day, the priest of this temple said,
Osho: "Ikkyu, I'm going to visit my friend. Let's go together, Ikkyu."
Ikkyu: "Yes! I'll prepare now!"
Then they went to Osho's friend's house.
But Mr. Osho's friend was the owner of a big shop and was very mean.
There is a big bridge on the way to my house.
The priest stopped in front of a big bridge.
Because there was a sign in front of the bridge that read, "Don't cross this bridge!"
Osho: "Hey, Ikkyu. It's written that you shouldn't cross this bridge. What are you going to do?"
Ikkyu-san: "It's okay, Osho-san."
Saying that, Ikkyu walked steadily in the middle of the bridge.
Osho-san also hurriedly walked behind Ikkyu-san.
When I got to the other side of the bridge, I saw my nasty master standing there.
Host: "Hey, there was a piece of paper pasted in front of the bridge, didn't you? Didn't you read it?"
Ikkyu: "I read it properly."
Host: "What was written on the paper?"
Ikkyu: "It says not to cross this chopstick."
Host: "Then why did you cross the bridge?"
Ikkyu: "It was written not to cross the chopsticks , so I crossed the middle instead of the edge ."
