■This is the "Basic Japanese Reading" corner■
Today's menu is
①Little Red Riding Hood
②Naked King
There are two stories, questions, and conversation practice.
① "Little Red Riding Hood" (Scene where the bad wolf goes to grandma's house)
Little Red Riding Hood goes to Grandma's house.
I met a wolf on the road on the way.
Wolf: "Little Red Riding Hood, where are you going?"
Little Red Riding Hood: "I'm going to Grandma's house. I'll give her wine and cake."
Wolf : "Yes, where is Grandma's house?"
Little Red Riding Hood: "Under that big tree."
Wolf: "I see. See you later."
The wolf waved to Little Red Riding Hood and ran as fast as she could to Grandma's house.
And I got to Grandma's house earlier than Little Red Riding Hood.
Ton ton ton…
Wolf: "Grandma, it's Little Red Riding Hood."
Grandma: "Oh. Little Red Riding Hood. Welcome."
Grandma opened the door, thinking Little Red Riding Hood was here.
Then,
Wolf : "Gaoo!!!"
The wolf ate granny.
Then I put on my grandma's clothes and slept on the bed.
After a while, Little Red Riding Hood came.
Ton ton ton…
Little Red Riding Hood: "Grandma. Little Red Riding Hood."
Wolf: "Oh, Little Red Riding Hood. Welcome."
Little Red Riding Hood: "Grandma, wine and cake. Here you go."
Wolf: "Thank you, Little Red Riding Hood, come here."
Little Red Riding Hood: "Well, Grandma's eyes, why are they so big?"
Wolf: "That's because I can see your pretty face."
Little Red Riding Hood: "Grandma, why are your ears so big?"
Wolf : "That's because I can hear you very well."
Little Red Riding Hood: "Then why is Grandma's mouth so big?"
Wolf: "That's because I'm going to eat you!!!!!"
Little Red Riding Hood : "Eeeeeee!"
The wolf ate Little Red Riding Hood.
Then, when I was full, I rested in my grandmother's bed.
An uncle who lives nearby came over.
Ton ton ton…
Uncle: "Huh? Is there anyone here?"
When Uncle opened the door of Grandma's house, a wolf was sleeping on the bed.
Uncle : "Oh! This is a bad wolf. It must have eaten grandma! Okay, let's help grandma."
The uncle cut the wolf's belly with a pair of scissors.
Grandma and Little Red Riding Hood came out of the wolf's belly.
Little Red Riding Hood: "Uncle! Thank you!"
Uncle: "No way, it's a matter of course. Are you okay?"
Little Red Riding Hood: "Yeah! It's okay!"
Uncle: "That's good."
Little Red Riding Hood and Grandma ate a delicious cake with the help of their uncle.

② "Naked King"
There was a king in a certain country.
One day two weavers came to the king's house.
Weaver: "Your Majesty, we can make very beautiful clothes, and, oh my God, only smart people can see them."
King: "Oh, clothes that only smart people can see... Interesting, so I'm waiting for that dress."
Weaver: "Yes! I will make a fine dress for the King in a week."
The king paid a lot of money to have a weaver make clothes for him.
But these two weavers lied.
There really is no such thing as clothes that only smart people can see.
They got the money, but they didn't make anything.
I waited a week, and two weeks passed.
After a month, the impatient King went to see their work.
King: "Hi, are the clothes ready?"
Weaver: "Oh, my lord, it's almost ready. Look at it. It's so pretty."
The two weavers looked at nothing and said,
The king also looked there, but there was nothing there.
King : (Hmm. I can't see anything. But this is clothes that only smart people can see...)
Weaver: "How's it going?"

The king also lied.
And the day of the country party,
