There are two stories, a problem, and conversation practice.

"The Tortoise and the Hare"

The turtle was taking a leisurely stroll.

Then I met a rabbit.

Rabbit: "Hey, turtle. You're really slow, turtle. Ha ha ha."

Turtle: "Hi, bunny. You're really fast, bunny. You're good at jumping too. But I'm faster than you."

Rabbit: "Hahaha. Well then, let's have a race to see who's faster, me or the turtle."

Kame: "Okay. Just come here tomorrow morning at 9 a.m."

The next day, the turtle arrived at 8:30.

The rabbit arrived at 9 o'clock.

Rabbit: "Good morning, turtle. Alright, let's get started. How far shall we run?"

Turtle: "The finish line is at the top of that mountain."

Rabbit: "Understood."

Turtle: "Okay, start!"

It's 1 km from here to the finish line.

The rabbit ran, hopping and jumping.

Turtles are slow.

The rabbit quickly came within 500 meters.

Rabbit: "Haha, I'm faster! But I'm a little tired, so let's rest here."

The rabbit went to sleep there.

The turtle keeps walking.

The rabbit woke up at 12 o'clock.

Rabbit: "Yawn. Now, let's run another 500 meters."

Hop hop hop

Rabbit: "Hahaha. We've reached the finish line! Oh, wait???"

The turtle was already at the finish line.

Turtle: "Rabbit, you're late. Did you take a break somewhere? No, you can't. It's a race now."

"Momotaro" (Scene where he meets the dog and monkey)

Momotaro takes the millet dumplings his grandmother gave him and heads to Onigashima (Demon Island).

I met a dog while walking.

Dog: "Momotaro! What is that?"

Momotaro: "Ah, these are millet dumplings. Grandma gave them to me."

Dog: "Wow, give me one."

Momotaro: "Okay."

The dog received a millet dumpling and became Momotaro's friend.

Momotaro and the dog were walking together.

Then, we encountered monkeys.

Monkey: "Hello, Momotaro. I'm very hungry... Do you have any food?"

Momotaro: "I have some millet dumplings. Please have one."

Monkey: "Thank you."

I even made friends with monkeys.

As Momotaro, the dog, and the monkey were walking, they encountered a pheasant.

Pheasant: "Hello, dog and monkey, what are you eating?"

Dog: "These are millet dumplings. Momotaro gave them to me."

Pheasant: "I want some too. Momotaro, please give me one."

Momotaro: "Yes, go ahead."

Then, Momotaro, the dog, the monkey, and the pheasant went to Onigashima (Demon Island) together.

★You came to the department store with Rin today.

Lin: "We did a lot of shopping! I'm a little tired, so why don't we take a break?"

Lin: "Okay, let's go into that Japanese restaurant."
