I've selected two dialogues from one scene each, taken from two different stories .
① "The Fox and the Crane" (A scene where the fox and the crane are eating a meal)
Today is Sunday.
The fox went to the park.
Then I met my friend Tsuru.
The fox greeted the crane.
Fox: "Hey, Crane! Hello."
Tsuru: "Hi, hello, Mr. Fox."
Fox: "Oh, it's 12 o'clock now. Have you had lunch yet, Crane?"
Vine "No, not yet."
Fox: "Well then, how about we have lunch together at my house?"
Tsuru: "Yes, that sounds great. Let's eat together."
The fox and the crane went to the fox's house.
Fox: "Come on in."
Tsuru: "Excuse me. Wow, Mr. Fox's house is lovely."
Fox: "Thank you. Would you like some tea?"
Tsuru: "Yes, thank you."
Fox: "Okay, let's have lunch. Crane, please."
Tsuru: "Let's eat!"

② "Omusubi Kororin" (The scene where the old man goes to the land of mice)
The old man came to the land of mice.
Grandfather: "Oh, where is this place?"
The mice: "This is the land of mice. Welcome to the land of mice, Grandpa!"
Grandpa: "Wow, is this the land of mice? What a wonderful place."
The mice: "We're going to have a welcome party for Grandpa. Let's eat lots of food and drink lots of alcohol!"
Grandfather: "Thank you. Well, I'll be going now."
The mice and the old man had a party.
Music, dancing, alcohol, food...
Grandpa ate a lot of food.
Grandfather: "It's nighttime now. Thank you for today."
The mice: "Grandpa, are you going home? Well, here's a souvenir for you. Please."
The old man received lots of fish, vegetables, and alcohol from the mice.
Grandpa: "Thank you so much, little mice! See you again soon!"
The mice: "See you again!"
Goodbye!
The old man and the mice all said goodbye.
"bye bye!"
The old man and the mice waved.
