Once upon a time there lived an old man and an old woman.
They were not rich, but they lived quietly and happily on the outskirts of the village.
One day.
My grandfather went to the mountains to mow the lawn, and my grandmother went to the river to wash clothes.
When the old woman was washing laundry in the river, something called a donburakodonbura came flowing.
Upon closer inspection, it was a big, big peach.
``Oh, how big it is!
The old woman carried the big peach on her back and went home.
When I showed my grandfather a peach, he was surprised.
"Hey, what a big peach! Let's cut it and eat it."
The old woman brought a large knife from the kitchen and tried to cut the peach.
It's time!
Pakkan and peach split on their own, and a healthy baby boy came out from inside.
Ogya, Ogya!
The old man and the old woman were very surprised and hugged the child.
The childless couple immediately decided to raise the child.
The boy was born from a peach, so he was named Momotaro and was raised with care.
Momotaro ate a lot of rice and grew up, and eventually became a splendid young man.
Grandfather, grandmother, and Momotaro lived peacefully together.
However, one day, Momotaro heard that there was an evil demon who robbed the villagers of money and treasures.
"Old man, old woman. There's a demon doing bad things in the village. I'll go to Onigashima and get rid of the bad demon."
"Momotaro. Demons are very strong. Please don't do such a dangerous thing."
"That's right. I don't want my precious Momotaro to be in danger."
The old man and the old woman objected, but Momotaro still decided to go and did not listen.
Momotaro manages to persuade his grandfather and grandmother, and the day finally comes when he sets off on his journey to exterminate the demons.
"Look, this is a millet dumpling that will give you energy. If you get hungry during your trip, eat it."
The old woman gave Momotaro the millet dumplings she had made.
"Thank you! I'm going!"
The old man and the old woman looked at him worriedly.
Momotaro turned around and waved at them repeatedly until the house was out of sight.
Now, the journey of exterminating demons begins.
Momotaro met a dog on his journey.
"Kunk-kun... It smells good. What's in the bag?"

Momotaro and the dog started walking together.
After a while, I met a monkey this time.

Momotaro, the dog and the monkey continued their journey together.
Then I met Kiji.
"Oh, this is a dangerous road to Onigashima. Are you guys going to exterminate demons?"

"This is millet dumplings that my grandmother made."
"Give me one. I will accompany you on your journey to exterminate demons."
"Oh, of course."
And so Momotaro, the dog and the monkey continued their journey.
After a while, Onigashima came into view.
"That's Onigashima!"
"Come on, beat the bad demons!"
When Momotaro and his friends passed through the gate of the large demon castle, they jumped at the demons inside all at once.
Momotaro used his sword, the dog bit the demon's buttocks, the monkey scratched its face, and Kiji poked its head.
While the demons weep,
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Forgive me already!"
said.
"Promise me that you will return what you have stolen from the villagers!"
"Okay. I'll return all the money and treasures. I won't do something like this again!"
The demons made a promise to Momotaro.
In this way, Momotaro, the dog, and the monkey loaded the returned money and treasures on the cart and returned to the house where the grandfather and grandmother were waiting.
