To conclude my greetings, let me offer a few words of advice for putting your studies into practice. For basic communication in a foreign language (especially Japanese in this case), the most important things are "sound" and "vocabulary size."

Let's listen to the sound.

It is not the sound of any language spoken by any person in any other region. It is not the sound of the alphabet, nor of Arabic script, nor of Hangul script, nor of any Chinese characters used in other countries.

Listen carefully and try to hear Japanese.

If you listen carefully to the Japanese language, you will hear sounds that are unique to the Japanese language.

In actual Japanese speaking, what is particularly important is

a, i, u, e, o

These are the five sounds shown above. They are called vowels and are pronounced forcefully with breath.

In most cases, the sound of a single syllable written in hiragana is based on the five vowels "a, i, u, e, o," and that is what constitutes a "sound" in Japanese.

Those connect to form a "word".

The more words you use, the more accurately you can infer the other person's intentions from the context of their life experiences.

All of the teachers who teach the classes are professional Japanese language teachers with specialized qualifications.

We offer support in foreign languages.

During Japanese lessons, we provide support in foreign languages as needed, and we can also assist you in foreign languages when you make inquiries, register for lessons, or receive other information.

In addition to English, we can also communicate in standard Chinese and other languages.

While JLS lessons primarily recommend the direct method in Japanese, the advantage of private lessons is that they allow students to study hard through flexible class activities. We actively offer bilingual lessons tailored to your goals and other needs.

History of the classroom

About our activities

Japanese Language Learning Support LLC started in early summer, June 2016, as a Japanese language tutoring office primarily operating in Tokyo.

Specializing in Japanese language learning, we have expanded our language education activities while receiving strong support from business professionals since our inception. We maintain our consistent style of providing private lessons to support the acquisition of Japanese language skills that meet a wide range of needs.

From early summer 2017 to August 2019, we operated from an office space at the Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station.

From the latter half of 2019 to April 2020, I rented a small room in Nishi-Shinjuku and ran a private tutoring classroom.

■ Operation of Japanese language training sessions conducted on business trips

From May 2020, we moved our base of operations to the Shinjuku 2-chome office.

From the end of November 2022,

We have established Japanese Learning Support LLC and will be transferring all operations to it, completely revamping our organizational structure.

We plan to further expand our services for Japanese language learning in the future.
